As a result of this effort, nearly a dozen young Latinos are now homeowners in Humboldt Park. Furthermore, Nancy inspired many of the young Latino entrepreneurs to invest in buying homes in the area, often holding informal gatherings with them. Additionally, her devotion to the community informed her opposition to the destructive presence of RiotFest in Humboldt Park. Thus, she supported, actively the building of the Borinqueneers Housing initiative for Latino veterans, at Norwegian American Hospital, and the construction of the Paseo Boricua Arts Building to enable the community's artists to have a space to live and work. Nancy was deeply aware of the rapid changes that the Humboldt Park community was undergoing and wanted for these to be in consonance with the needs and aspirations of the area's residents. For her, these initiatives would constitute historical markers for future generations to understand the challenges our community faced, and the contributions that it made to the city.
In that spirit, she advocated for the naming of a Hispanic Housing Senior building after the Puerto Rican political prisoner Oscar López Rivera, and that she also proposed that the Humboldt Park library be named after Cong. She was always aware of the importance of critical space in community building and wanted to insure that the community's historical memory was inscribed in the 26th Ward. Nancy was a devoted wife and loving mother but she was also an active volunteer in the community, and served as the Alderman's principal political advisor, shaping many of his policies on education, housing, health, community and economic development.īorn into a family of community activists, Nancy very early in her life developed a deep devotion to her Puerto Rican heritage and to her community. Cada autor de cada episodio supo darle su toque y su identidad, ningún episodio se siente similar. Aunque los episodios no sean los mejores, cada uno te atrapa con sus fortalezas, ya que se magnifican y te regalan siempre un mensaje positivo con ese sabor de George Lucas, Con personajes aunque muy planos interesantes. Lo que hace fuerte a esta serie, es el enfoque que se le da al universo de Star Wars, ya sea en pequeños guiños o en presentar a algún personaje original de la franquicia.
Los episodios no se sienten totalmente acabados. Visualmente todos los capítulos me volaron la cabeza, pero narrativamente casi todos dejan que descerar ya que cada episodio se centra en una cosa y descuida las demás hay un episodio que se centra en el conflicto interno, pero sin tener una trama real hay otro que se centra en la acción pero descuida a los personajes y a la trama hay otro que s centra en la trama pero posiblemente es el más aburrido. O 9° episódio copia Vingança dos Sith de forma porca e apressada.
O 7° episódio de longe foi o melhor, lembra um pouco Ameaça Fantasma. O 6° episódio tenta imitar Uma Nova Esperança e QUEBRA o conceito da força de forma ridícula.
O 5° episódio daria uma boa série, apesar de seus furos de enredo e lógica, e a personagem ser muito chata, a história se salva e é mediana. O 4° episódio já traz uma ideia mais conceitual e interessante, na curta duração é mal desenvolvido e grande demais, porém é interessante. O 3° episódio é o pior, traz as coisas mais ridículas, copia Ascensão Skywalker e Nova Esperança, uma cópia de vader, uma evolução bizarra do sabre de luz e uma porrada de coisas sem sentido. O 2° episódio traz uma ideia nova, porém muito boba e infantil, começando no contexto do expurgo jedi, corta para uma ideia infantil daquela banda que O PIOT PLANO da história pra salvar o amigo e terminar com um final feliz tosco e ridículo. O 1° episódio é visualmente feio e mal pensado, nada original, o duelo é mediano e fraco e o Sabre ventilador é horrível, feio e sem sentido algum, é péssimo. Essa é a pior produção com o título Star Wars que eu já vi, amo essa saga, mas tem uns podres horríveis.
